Michael S. Pedrotti holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics from Texas A&M University. Pedrotti has 39 years’ industry experience in oil and gas, with a focus on South Texas and the Texas Gulf Coast. Pedrotti currently serves as President and Equity Owner of Pedrotti Oil and Gas, Inc., LMP Petroleum, Inc., LMP Exploration, Inc. and Texegy LLC; and holds Chief Executive Officer and Equity Owner positions with Texegy Royalty LLC, Impact Tanks LLC and SV Energy Company LLC.

Commissioner Pedrotti is a participant and supporter of numerous organizations including but not limited to; Board of Directors Texas Independent Producers and Royalty Owners Associates, Advisory Board Center for Sportfish Science and Conservation, CCA Texas and Port Liaison Coastal Bend Bays and Estuaries.

Michael was born and raised here in the Coastal Bend, has been married to Laureen McCullough for 37 years. Together they have three children and two grandchildren.
